CALL FOR PAPERS

The Centre for Qur’anic Studies, Bayero University, Kano, invites interested scholars to submit research articles, papers, book reviews and Seminar Conference reports for publication in its journal, Al Maher Journal of Qur’anic Studies (AJQS). The Journal is a specialized, peer-reviewed, academic publication in the area of Qur’anic studies. Only articles that have clear relevance to the field of Qur’anic studies may be considered for publication in the Journal. The Journal would give special focus to issues related to the traditional Qur’anic schools (Tsangaya) in Nigeria and innovative ways of promoting their relevance in contemporary Muslim society.
